Chiller than Zip Dog's barrier-busting 'Club Meets Dub' series, this new compilation still bears the
Zip Dog hallmark of up-tempo, dancefloor friendly, dubtronica vibe.
For the first time, Zip Dog feature an 'oldie', the dub mix of Leftfield's classic 'Release the Pressure',
which is so hard to find on the original 12-inch that the label, Hard Hands, only had one copy left!
It comes as Leftfield's long-awaited new album is about to be unleashed.

Original Hifi witnesses electron-dubbers, Emperor Sly, shutting down their sequencers and making
some 'real' music with guest drummer Bugs from Cambridge-based Manna Maya. The
result is undeniable - instant appeal melodies; classics with a modern edge.
Chili Dubs is a version album, with the six original tracks dubbed/versioned by Mad Professor
Conscious Sounds, Armagideon, Simbleton & Bones and Emperor Sly.
To get the right vibe, the tunes were mostly recorded utterly live in the spacious live room at
Moody Studios in Acton, West London. The melodies are strong and the sounds are natural with
a brass section and guitar leading many of the tunes.
