PA'TI PA'MI BACKGROUND
Pa'Ti Pa'Mi present music from the originals, the best Latino musicians from North and South America, including
Billboard chart-toppers such as Frankie Ruiz and Hansel Martinez - also responsible for the first salsa album to ever
go double Platinum. The albums include some superb merengue (hard to get at any price in the UK) and, what's
more, Pa'Ti Pa'Mi recordings are also well known for their excellent technical quality.
The label has excellent contacts with the musicians' home countries and they also know the Miami music scene
inside out. They believe that Miami is the main centre of the salsa and merengue movement, where trends are set,
new songs presented and where hits become real hits.
Pa'Ti Pa'Mi release a new album every two months or so. The seven titles listed here are available
now for the first time in UK record shops via Avid / BMG distribution. More will follow including the new
release below due out in July.
