Taken from 10 Astra Nova albums and released through Global Fusion, music on this collection ranges from
African Drum'n'Bass fusion to an Enigma style track used by KLM airlines as their UK theme. Available in the
US via Allegro distribution and soon to be released in the UK via Avid/BMG, this album introduces a major new
talent. Although Scott Hill has worked with some major names this is his first solo project for worldwide release.
Track 1: KURDISH MOON: Traditional North African and Middle Eastern folksongs and instruments
are blended superbly with contemporary jazz and hip hop grooves.
Track 2: KIYE MAYE: A celebration of African musical culture fused with swing beat, jazz and jungle
grooves.
Track 3: SPIRIT OF VISHNU: Rich musical textures from India, Pakistan and Kashmir are interwoven with
break beats and Jazz motifs.
Track 4: GLOBAL VISION (KLM UK theme): The mystical vocals of Russian Monks are featured in this
uplifting work of World Fusion.
Track 5: SPIRIT OF THE SPRING WIND: Native American Song incantations meld with cool jazz grooves.
Track 6: KARAKUL: Native sounds of the Rainforest combine with Brazilian Magic.
Track 7: CARIBE: Waves of relaxation provide a passport to a Caribbean paradise.
